Tariff & Customs FAQ

Will I have to pay import duties or tariffs?+
That depends on your destination and the part's HTS classification. On a DDP quote we collect duties and tariffs up front and itemize them — the courier will not ask you for payment at delivery. On a DAP/DAP-style shipment, the carrier bills you for duties and taxes before release.
How do Section 301 tariffs affect Chinese-origin parts?+
Many Chinese-origin electronics carry an additional Section 301 duty when imported into the US. The exact rate depends on the HTS code and has changed over time — we do not quote flat percentages on this page. Your quote classifies each line and itemizes the actual duty, so the number you see is the number you pay.
Can a lower declared value reduce my duties?+
No — and we will not do it. Every shipment is declared at actual transaction value with full documentation. Undervaluation risks seizure, penalties and carrier account suspension, and it would void the traceability promise we make on every lot.
What happens if customs holds my shipment?+
Export clearance on our side runs through a green channel (typically same-day). Destination inspections are outside anyone's control; if a hold happens we provide the full document set — invoice, packing list, origin and lot records — and work with the broker until release.
