Anaren, Inc. was founded in 1967 by Hugh A. Hair and Carl W. Gerst Jr. in East Syracuse, New York, USA. The company started as a supplier of microwave components and subassemblies for the defense electronics market. Over the decades, Anaren has evolved into a leading innovator of standard and custom microwave and RF technology. The company's core business areas include high-frequency electronics for aerospace, defense, wireless infrastructure, and medical applications. Anaren's product portfolio includes a wide range of RF and microwave components such as couplers, dividers, baluns, filters, and integrated assemblies. Notable product lines include the Xinger® brand of passive components, which are compact surface-mount devices offering excellent performance up to millimeter-wave frequencies.
