Intel Corporation, founded in 1968 and headquartered in Santa Clara, California, is the world's largest semiconductor chip manufacturer by revenue. As a vertically integrated device manufacturer, Intel operates its own fabrication plants worldwide. The company holds a dominant share in the x86 CPU market for servers and PCs, though it faces growing competition from AMD and ARM-based designs. Intel continues to drive innovation in AI with its Gaudi AI accelerators and oneAPI software ecosystem.
