Lantiq- Audio Processor ICs

Lantiq was a fabless semiconductor company specializing in broadband access and digital home networking. Founded in 2009 as a spin-off from Infineon Technologies' wireline communications division, the company was headquartered in Neubiberg (Munich), Germany, with international locations across Europe, North America, and Asia Pacific. Lantiq's core expertise lay in mixed-signal and digital signal processing, enabling highly integrated system-on-chip (SoC) solutions. Its broad product portfolio included SoCs for xDSL, VoIP, Wi-Fi, FTTx, Gigabit Ethernet, and LTE technologies, offering end-to-end semiconductor platforms for next-generation networks. The company became the number one global supplier of access network integrated circuits, shipping millions of devices annually to leading OEMs, ODMs, and broadband system manufacturers. Lantiq's solutions were deployed in access and home networks by major carriers worldwide. Backed by principal investor Golden Gate Capital and strategic investor T-Venture of Deutsche Telekom, the company delivered innovative, flexible, and competitive semiconductor products. In 2015, Lantiq was acquired by Intel Corporation to strengthen its position in the connected home and IoT markets, integrating Lantiq's technology into Intel's communications portfolio.
