Established in 1922, Tripp Lite has been a pioneer in power protection and connectivity solutions. Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, the company introduced the world's first UPS designed for personal computers in 1981. In 1982, it launched the Isobar surge suppressor, renowned for its advanced surge and noise filtering. Tripp Lite's product portfolio includes uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), surge protectors, power distribution units (PDUs), and cooling solutions. Key product lines include the SmartPro line-interactive UPS series, the OmniSmart series, and the robust Isobar surge protection line. The company also offers cables, adapters, and KVM switches for comprehensive IT infrastructure. Tripp Lite serves a wide range of applications from PCs and servers to telecommunications and industrial process control. In 2021, Tripp Lite was acquired by Eaton, enhancing its global market presence.
