Yageo Corporation, founded in 1977 and headquartered in Taiwan, is a global leader in passive component solutions. The company provides a complete portfolio of passive components, including chip resistors, multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs), ferrite products, inductors, and high-frequency solutions. Yageo offers both commodity and specialty versions, enabling one-stop-shopping with design-in support, logistics, and e-commerce connectivity. Yageo holds the number one global position in chip resistors, number three in MLCCs, and number three in ferrite products. The group expanded its capabilities through the acquisitions of capacitor leader Teapo and inductor leader Chilisin in the 1990s. Yageo became the first passive component company listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange in 1993, and its capital has grown from NT$0.4 billion to NT$11.6 billion.
