The 84-7124 series from EAO AG consists of mushroom-shaped plastic lenses in a variety of colors. These accessories are typically used in switch applications where visual feedback is important. If you're working on designs that require tactile switches with clear visual indicators, these lenses can be a great fit. They come in handy for applications like control panels, medical devices, or any system where user interaction needs to be both intuitive and visually distinct. One thing worth noting is that the different colors allow for easy differentiation between various functions or states, which can significantly enhance usability. Engineers tend to reach for this when they need a simple yet effective way to provide visual confirmation of button presses or state changes without adding complexity to the design. The compact and rounded shape of these lenses also helps in creating a more aesthetically pleasing interface, making them a popular choice in consumer electronics and industrial controls alike
